The Case Of The $3,000 Mountain
Bike And A Soar Assembly!

---- I was out ridding over the labor day
weekend with a Cannondale F1000 stock mountain bike.
A Sweet Bike, With Surprising Front Fork Suspension
Technology. However, my butt is still soar three days later
from the awful seat configuration. We had taken in the
bike, as a trade-in on one of our exclusive full
suspension custom built bikes. So I Started To
Search And Researched What The World Markets Had To
Offer For Seat Suspension To Improve The Bikes, Nasty
NO-Suspension Rear Wheel.
My pelvis bone was very soar after
only about 15 minutes riding along on the street them to
the smoother paved riding/walking path along the south
shores of the metro Milwaukee area.
Now here is where you, the mountain
bike rider can relate. You've been on the trail for an
hour or so and the rocks aren't getting any less
frequent, nor the ground smoother. Your butt tells you
the rocks and ground are getting harder. Your seats
seems to be getting hard as steel. Too bad you don't
have a spare $1500 to $3200 handy to buy one of the full
suspension custom frame from Casanova's. What are
your options to improving your enjoyment and saving your
ass?
Bikes that are not able to be
converted to full suspension, and those without the
bucks to convert, can look to removing the hard-tail
seatpost and replacing it with a suspension seatpost!
Several remedies on the market to
saving your butt and extending your riding endurance:

Replace the seat with a bigger
seat with big springs

Wear biking pans designed with
extra padding or Gel inserts

Replace the rigid seatpost (hardtail)
with a full suspension seatpost
Suspension Seatpost
There are a few varieties of
suspension seatposts on the market. There are two major
suspension design categories in seatposts : linkage and
telescoping.
The linkage approach is generally
designed to keep the distance between the seat and the
pedals constant. This makes pedaling more comfortable;
efficient; enjoyable. This seems to be the preferred
method among users.

all new lightweight CrMo shaft for stiction free
performance and bushing design for 2002. The
patented Anti Swivel system allows side-to-side play
