"Caving" Is A Term That Has Become Widely Excepted Worldwide To Use When Referring To The Activity Of Entering A Cave For The Purpose Of Moving Through And Around In The Cave.  Caving Is Being Done For Sport; Exploration; Technical Means Of Travel In A Greater Adventure/Work; For Profit As A Tourist Activity; For Research; And For Work.  "Caving" The Universal Worldwide Term For Referring To Anyone Entering And Moving Around In A Cave.

Caving Organizations

There Are No International Governing Bodies In The Activity.  Very Few Companies Worldwide Are Producing "Caving" Specific Equipment.  Small Private Caving Organizations And Groups Have Evolved In The United States, Which Provide Their Own Produced Resources And Activities.  A Good Organization Can Be A Method To Meeting Experienced Cavers, Who May Share Information On Cave Locations And Training In Basic And Advanced Caving Techniques.  Other Small Private Groups Are Forming Worldwide.

Internationally, There Are Small Groups To Be Discovered Worldwide, And Some Much Older Than The Groups In The US.  Recently Mr. Casanova Discovered Two Good Groups, One In New Zealand And The Other In Fiji.  Ask People Who Have Traveled To Areas Around The World, Research And Gather As Much Information As You Can Find And Quality The Value Of The Source Of Information.  There Are Small Groups, Worldwide, Offering Genuine Value, Quality Experiences And Information.

Qualifications

Caving Requires A Certain Amount Of Specialized Certified Equipment, Specialized Skills And Experience.  NEVER Explored A Cave Alone; Obtain The Necessary Permission, Equipment, Understanding, Attitude, Skill Sets And Experience.  Remember, It Is Recommended To Never Enter A Cave Without Three People.  Seek Out Quality, Qualified Training With A Serious Attitude - Its Your Life On The Line, Ultimately, You Are The Final Person Responsible For Yourself!

Caving Expeditions

Research And Search, And You may Discover A Few Great Underground Adventures!  Casanova's World Adventures Recently  Discovered Two Small Operator Caving Adventures In New Zealand And Fiji.  Both Offering Very Different And Exciting Experiences.

During One Of Mr Gene Casanova's World Adventures In 2009, He Discovered An Excellent World-Class Expeditionary Caving Adventure In The Highlands Of Fiji.  This Expedition Was Operated By Indigenous Fijian People And A Village.  The Expedition Was being Advertised As A Cave Tour.  The Expedition Started With A Sacred Ceremony Where Permission Was Asked Of, In Respect For Their Ancestors, And Granted By The Chief Of The Village.  Next, A Hike Down To A River's Edge Where The Group Climbed Aboard Two Large Traditional Fijian Bamboo Rafts.  A Short River Crossing, And A Long Hike Through A Unique Rain/Tropical Forest To The Remote Ancient Cannibal Village Cave Entrance.  There Is An Active River Running Through The Cave. The Cave Was Used By The Ancestral Villagers For Everyday Living Protection During Bad Times.  These People Have No Fancy Certifications, But Possess Skills Proven Through Decades.
